CGA and the Internet of Things

CGA and the Internet of Things

Elizabeth Cholawsky and Lee Gruenfeld developed deep expertise in the Internet of Things as a result of the strategy they developed for, a NASDAQ company headed by Elizabeth as CEO. Early on, they identified the IoT as the sector most critically in need of robust support, as evidenced by increasing consumer resistance owing to serious difficulties in connecting, using and troubleshooting smart home devices. They set a strategy of forming alliances with IoT platform providers because they were the key connection between IoT developers and consumers. They forged a number of formal partnerships with some of the most important players in the industry, including Icontrol, ThingWorx, EVRYTHNG, Arrayent and Exosite, and redirected development of the Cloud product to more directly align it with the needs of IoT ecosystem providers.

Elizabeth and Lee actively pushed the industry to recognize the obstacles impeding growth and adoption. They were featured speakers at such prestigious events as the Consumer Electronics Show, Frost and Sullivan MindXchange, Parks Associates CONNECTIONS IoT Summit, Silicon Valley CX Breakfast Club, the CABA Forum, IoT Evolution, TSIA Technology Services World and numerous others. Lee is also a well-known author in the technology press and has written extensively on the IoT. (For examples see "CGA Publications" in top menu.)
